SYNOPSIS

Yugoslavia, 1999. The world is once again on the verge of war as a Russian task force is ordered into an uphill battle for control of Kosovo’s Slatina airport. They have to prevent the strategic location from falling into the terrorists, led by an Albanian warlord, before NATO forces can arrive to give the Russians support. Andrei Shatalov, the commander of the task force, tries to do his job despite the pressure from politics. Even more distracting is the fact that his girlfriend Yasna is among the hostages at the airport..
