ART AND FREEDOM: The power of art has been known to change the world and bring down walls. This Italian-Polish tale is one such story, told against the HISTORICAL backdrop of the collapse of the BERLIN WALL! The greatest European revolution of the twentieth century is told by amazing artists who lived it. Between 1975 and 1989, the world’s most important artistic movement of underground and independent culture developed in Poland and went on to change the world “Solidarity!” It was a movement and a rallying cry that reunited East and West and brought down The Berlin wall. But over time a sort of amnesia began taking hold and in the contemporary world, walls are rising again. Many artists participate in this documentary including well known actors Krystyna Janda, Andzej Wajda, Olgierd Łukasiewicz, Jerzey Bereś, Jerzy Kalina and the Nobel Prize Lech Wałęnsa. ART is the most powerful form of ACTIVISM and this film will inspire you!
